Participation fees
As we practice more collaborative ways of working, we invite you into shared responsibility to support this training to happen. This includes supporting everyone who wants to attend to be there, regardless of their capacity to pay.
We need to meet the fixed costs (venue, meals, resources etc) and also want to honour the hard work and experience of the team organising and hosting the training. We are operating with this principle - "ask for what you need, and offer what you can”. We offer the fee structure as a guide to what to pay. You decide what you consider to be a fair price for this training, or what is within your training budget and capacity to pay. If you can, we encourage you to offer a little more which could support others to attend. We are also open to and welcome a conversation about fees if they are a challenge for you. If you would like to, please indicate this on your registration form. This scale of fees speak to some of our principles for economy for this training:
ScholarshipsWe’re delighted that scholarships are available for some people working and volunteering in bushfire impacted communities across South East NSW, and wanting to attend this 3 day training.
This is possible thanks to the Foundation for Rural and Regional Renewal’s (FRRR) Strengthening Rural Communities Program, and the generosity of the Waislitz Family Foundation in partnership with Australian Community Media. Please indicate your interest on the registration form. The Cobargo Community Bushfire Recovery Fund has also provided scholarship funding to support people from the Triangle region to attend the training. ContactPlease get in touch if you want to know more about the training itself, or if you would like a conversation about fees.
